Multiplayer Wrong planet

My friend rented a server and I spawned on the wrong planet. He cant find the PLY files to delete me so I am stranded stuck playing by myself until they get to end game and can pick me up.

is there really no way to fix this stupid problem?

If you are running a dedicated server with EAH enabled, you might be able to use the chatbot to do it. Type into chat (not console, but the actual player chat)

There are console commands that can be used. If your friend can give you admin rights, you can do the following:

Open the console.
Type gm. This will enable god mode so you don't fall to your death or freeze in space.
Type Sector 'name of planet' where name of planet is the exact planet name you want to teleport to.
For example, if you are trying to go to Akua, type this:
Sector 'Akua'
This will teleport you into the orbit around the planet.
Then you can use god mode to fly to the planet (hold down a combination of shift and/or ctrl to fly faster) or have your friend pick you up in orbit with a SV.
Type gm to disable god mode.

Or look up where the player files are located so your friend can delete them.

If your friend uses ftp or the hosts file browser your player file is in the saves/games/name of game folder and your file is 76561197962036114

delete it and you can start again
