I also want to know what is the main focus of this game. I remember that I read somewhere long time ago that this is going to be PVE focus, that's why I bought it in the first place.
There are Alien capital city (I wouldn't call it capital, more like outpost) that you can go and trade with them if you're friendly with them.

As for building . . . try to imagine building something with 1/3 of the blocks and features we now have. Go into the Steam Workshop, select Show Newest and then click on the very last page and work your self forward. You'll see the builds from a few years ago and how simple they were compared to what we have now.
Yeah as I said i like the building system and crafting and so on I think thats already finished.
I just hope they have a clear vision for the future from now on which takes a PvE direction.
And when they finish those things just release a ultimate hype creating trailer because this game is basically almost what people expected No Mans Sky was going to be.
