Auto miner core locations?

Where can I find them in POIs? Ive been on all POIs on Akua but even the gold containers doesnt have them.

I found 3 of them in the small Village POI in a Red Alien Container

Yellow and Red containers are high-value rares - You can find them in either unless that's changed since the last time I found them.

There's yellow containers often times in (Name) bases - it seems to be a smaller quanity and chance here

Red Containers are in Abandoned Poi's at least once. there's one sandwiched on a platform and the floor above - lots of turrets around -Yellow container near one of the turret rooms too (think its the abandoned on omicron)

There is a cargo box variant which can have high-rare quality - I think that one can also have them but I don't think any vanilla poi uses those yet. - Custom ones may.

Purple containers are Epics - single slotted (There's actually a possibility that the Cargo box ultra-rare is also Epic only - as Purple is ultra-rare and red is very-rare)

all are chance for AMC -not guaranteed. You may never find another one. You may find them 1294172u45129578 times on a single planet.

Also don't forget you can upgrade the Auto Miners with multi-tool.... Saving the Core. (Didn't know that either at first.)

If I am not mistaken they removed the cores from loot now so you only have what you start with. Apparently to prevent people from making too many autominers on MP servers and locking other players from being able to mine. Perhaps they should make it configurable so you could still find them (or even craft them) on a server should you want to, especially on SP.

I can confirm once again they're in both Red and Yellow container - as I just got 3 or 4 more from two yellow containers at the top of a vehicle port - next to an abandoned factory which had some red containers that had a few (near the core of the POI)

They're a chance.
They're in "Rare" or higher. containers - But Not Super Ultra-Rare - which only contain epics. (i.e, Any yellow or red containers... dunno if anything else has this quality level)

You also get tons of Zascosium, Erestrum, Adv Constructors, etc in these containers - by chance, again.

Atm they can even be found in deco blocks but it will change so they become rare as, but Kurzidan describes it perfectly.

One Auto Mining Core was in my rescue capsule. Found 4 others so far at different locations.
