Empyrion - Galactic Survival

Got Eggs? Why would you eat them?
While I have always been somewhat curious as to what laid those eggs, I'm more curious as to why it's listed as a consumable? It has ZERO food value and negative health and stamina.
Why would you consume eggs other than as an intermediate ingredient (love waffles in the morning). Even raw meat, while not heathy (although, I love raw hamburger on rye with onions- yum), has food value to sustain you. As far as I know, every consumable has at least one positive value.

So what's with eggs?

Maybee it has to do with Salmonila or something. Maybee it has has something to do with life can only fead on life (eggs until fertilized are not alive).

Caveat: I know absolutely minimal information about eggs, so I reserve the right to be totally wrong. I do know they make other things Yummy with other ingreadiants.

Did I leave out the part that I was refering to data window listing the properties of the various food items? I think the "eggs" should have a food value of maybe 50 with its current negative health & stamina (similar to "raw meat") or be listed as an intermediate ingredient.

This is not a big deal, just a point of consistency.

Maybe they didnt get laid !

Maybe they grew !

Couple of different eggs in game, one is use to make those EM packs.

Probly find most food recipies get changed and re-balanced closer to Beta when they give food more meaning.
