Empyrion - Galactic Survival

Empyrion Makes Me Nauseated - Needs Option to Disable Motion Blur
Some games make me nauseated. Empyrion is one of them. In other games I typically have to turn off motion blur to stop getting nauseated. Empyrion has no motion blur option. I can't play Empyrion.

Also, I have mouselag.. it's about 2 tenths of a second lag from mouse movement to reaction on screen.

I get simulation sickness (like what you experienced), and I have hudnreds of hours of gameplay on the game (3/4ths is in creative, though). Never really had an issue.

Lag in 1st person or 3rd? 3rd is a known issue. I prefer 1st most of the time.

Agree that motion blur and screen shake should have options to turn off in all games.
Have found out though that framerate (press f8 ingame), and monitor response time contribute greatly though.

Whose vision is like that anyway? When I move around it does not blur like that. Its stupid.

HAHA, right? I don't see how it adds to the experience even if it didn't make me feel ill.

Both, but I can deal with it in 3rd person. 1st person is where it becomes very annoying for me. This problem seems isolated to only a few people, like myself. When I first purchased this game some months ago I did not have this issue. Something that changed or added created this problem.

Good for you.

Do you possibly mean Depth of Field effect? I disabled it immediately when it was first introduced. Never liked it in any games. It causes objects you point at to be focused well, and other surroundings blurred.

In that response I was talking about the mouse lag being intrtoduced recently. The nausea thing I'm not sure because I didn't play it much. I did try changing settings to see if it improved my nausea but nothing helped. I'm fairly certain it's the motion blur because in other games it has the same effect on me.

I believe there is an option to turn motion blur off, it's one of the 1st things I did. I don't have motion blur in my game. If you can't find it, then I recomend adjusting your mouse dpi because that sounds very high, like it's at 4500. I keep mine between 800 & 1350 which is good for just about anything.
