Quick way to transport materials
I couldn't find any previous discussion, but is there a quick way to transports the raw materials from one place to another without removing them from whatever container they are in?

It gets old to spend all that time emptying one cnstructor, storing it in another container, then reloading the new constructor somewhere else.

Yes, I suppose I could just make my base the CV, but I hate going up and down all the time, plus bases are needed if you want to use HV's for mining and such.

Thanks.

i am not very often clearing the constructors.
i put 1-3 stacks of every ore (iron, copper, magnesium, silicium, cobalt 3 stacks. the other ores 1 stack) and some other stuff like cores/autominercores. the other slots are used for components like steelplates etc.

another constructor is for promethium and hydrogen.

i usually use ~7 survival constructors for refining ores to ingots. (as u get 1 at start u can farm them at POIs or if u die u can start with the rescue capsule where u should get a survival constructor)

with that i usually don'T have problems with the space in constructors

I use 'P' alot.
I hide nearly all containers and sometimes constructors.
standing anywhere on your base,cv etc and hit P
you can access anything you have built and load unload without moving.
you dont have to go to the fridge hit F load tomatoes into your inventry then run over to the meat fridge load meat run to the processor unload etc etc.
So in your case stand under your CV looking up and hit P. unload ffrom CV into your inventry hit P or ESC then look down at your base floor hit P locate what you need and unload.

I thought that was how everyone did it :)

P FTW!!!

Obviously not all !!!!!

Maybe I'm confused, but I meant moving from one planet/solar system to another. I know the whole "P" thing when moving stuff within a base, but when I've basically finished a planet and moving on to the next one I have to pick up everything and move it to the next planet.

I load up the CV and make it a mobile base. I don't go up and down too much because once I have a CV I live in it with only ore runs to the planet. I also park my CV on planets.

I didn't think you could take CV's down to the planets anymore?

Yes you can. I use one as a mobile base, though i do deploy a landing pad with some turrets on any planets I'm going to spend some time on.

P.s. You can land a CV, just not all CV weapons work planetside.

Huh, thanks. I tried it, and it did work, but not really feasible in my opinion as the energy consumption is brutal with all that gravity.

I don't really fly around with the CV on the planet. It just carries my SV's, and HV's planet side and lands. Then you can cut off engines and RCS's and bring power usage down to almost nothing.
