Carrier Core?

I've been over the Carrier in orbit around Akua several times, and even blown a few holes in it with my SV. I still can't find any core. Does this ship not have a core? If it does, where is it?

It is under the block between the two doors that leads to the bridge.

Thanks. Without the option to do much damage to blocks with small arms, some of those cores are a lot harder to find and destroy.

I usually blow ones like that out from my ship. Then I would put a core in it and harvest all the blocks :)
