Cobalt on Akua ?

Hello,

How do I get cobalt ore on Akua please?
I cant find any other ore than the 4 very first ones (iron, sil, cop, prom...)

harvest rocks with your drill. or check poi's always some in the crates and also if your building something in the factory you can throw devices you find in poi into the blue prints and get some that way as well

I have like 100k stone rock, never got anything else than the ora I was mining or the holes I was drilling for my base.

No what he means is the Rock/boulder you seeing laying around the planet. Use your drill on them. Right click with dril equip switch to the right mode.
Also a Harvester on a HV is great for mining those and killing all that wildlife. over 2k hours and a 2 week into the game noob told me about that......

Yes sorry if i wasnt clear boulders and stones you see on top of the ground. put your drill in correct mode.

There were like... 17 topics in past 3 weeks with this question :) First thing which you should do is to get resources from stones. That way you will get cobalt aswell. You can get cobalt also from POIs. There are cobalt deposits and cobalt meteorites on the moon. You can fly there with SV which doesnt need cobalt to be built.

Akua has a cobalt asteroid in orbit. Building a simple SV and finding that asteroid is by far the easiest source of almost all the cobalt you will ever need. If you design your SV right you can pop your drone (F5) and use it to mine while you stay in your ship. (Just press 'o' to straighten the ship before you get out of the control chair. Makes things easier and reduces risk of glitching through the hull.)

Also, the devs just dropped an update that removes cobalt requirements from growing plots. So now you don't really need cobalt at all until you start making level 10 components.

if you go after POIs - get the antennas and radar blocks off them... they contain cobalt too

I must have really bad luck, I flew to the moon in my SV, got shot at a lot, but flew all over the moon and could not find one cobalt deposit. Guess I will go back and have another look.

There is a cobalt asteroid in the asteroid belt around Akua

There is cobalt on the moon of Akua, and also a very large asteroid full of cobalt in the asteroid field around Akua. I would circle the asteroid field before looking on the moon.

Yeah, the asteroid is the best way, I mined about all I need for a while from that. There's also other asteroids with different minerals. I mined the promethium one too for about 700 promethium, took a few minutes and there's still tons left.
