So you dont actually have to find any wormholes, what you do is bring up the map, M, and go to galaxy map, TAB next to, planet symbol, up top, then click on the planet at the end of the wormhole white line and hit the Lock Target TAB down bottom right and you are ready to jump.

Its effectively just an extended warp jump, not an actual findable wormhole.

So treat it like any other planet you would warp to basically.
You do that through the map GUI window.

Wormholes can also be short jumps, its defined more by the fact that it's one-way, you can't jump to Masperon from the trading station but you can go to the trading station from Masperon.

Actually wormholes can be almost any distance.
5 au or 500 au, yea I tested it !
Sometimes throws error cos its off the star backround in GUI window but never crashes.

Its not defined by being one way, because, if you build scenarios and alot of us do, you would know that the one way wormhole can be a two way wormhole, so direction does not define what type of hole it is or anything.

It is defined in the YAML files.
With Allow and Deny code.

In fact you can set wormholes up so they come and go to every single planet in your system, if you can be bothered as there isnt much point.

Its easy also to setup teleporters to go to and from every planet at the trade station is how I do it in my scenario.

Is it close enough?

I believe it was a 1 way only. On my map I can go from Masperion to Niggues which is around 48 AU I think, but I can't travel from Niggues to Masperion.

Piddlefoot that is interesting, I'll have to look into that. I think that's custom server related thou. I think San Chris is in single player survival.

I'm still learning so maybe my asumptions are wrong. There are some things I don't understand, like the teleporter on Omicron, I've never found it and I've been all over that planet... perhaps I have to start there and set difficulty on highest or somethin :/

Teleporter has been moved to Aitis from Omicron.

Are Wormhole only coded in scenario ? or can they be found in co-op or single player as well ?

Since there is multiple solar system in co-op/single player as well

No they are in the vanilla games also, you need to go to some places to open the sector map up, once you have been to a planet if it has a warp lane it should show on map, but you need to go to those planets first.

So out of what i understand is that if i can warp to a new system it will show me exactly the same way as i can warp to a new planet ?
