Its effectively just an extended warp jump, not an actual findable wormhole.
So treat it like any other planet you would warp to basically.
You do that through the map GUI window.
5 au or 500 au, yea I tested it !
Sometimes throws error cos its off the star backround in GUI window but never crashes.
Its not defined by being one way, because, if you build scenarios and alot of us do, you would know that the one way wormhole can be a two way wormhole, so direction does not define what type of hole it is or anything.
It is defined in the YAML files.
With Allow and Deny code.
In fact you can set wormholes up so they come and go to every single planet in your system, if you can be bothered as there isnt much point.
Its easy also to setup teleporters to go to and from every planet at the trade station is how I do it in my scenario.
Piddlefoot that is interesting, I'll have to look into that. I think that's custom server related thou. I think San Chris is in single player survival.
I'm still learning so maybe my asumptions are wrong. There are some things I don't understand, like the teleporter on Omicron, I've never found it and I've been all over that planet... perhaps I have to start there and set difficulty on highest or somethin :/
Since there is multiple solar system in co-op/single player as well
