Can't place Water Generator

I started fresh game, after newest update.
On akua, standard settings.
Water Generator: placement position of this, when I want to put, is on surface of water, not deeper, I can;t place it, and it's constantly saying I have to place on water, but I can't.

Ok ok, never mind.
I restarted game, loaded up and it's working fine.

the water might not be deep enough right there, try finding a deeper spot, also hold "N" and make sure you don't have "Connect to" checked.

Yes, it was the reason. I had connect to set up to base.

HI .. recomend placeing it near where you plan on building you'r base ..then comes water gen and hydrogen .. right now hydrogen is only good for T-3 fuel cells ..use to be great for powering base, n HV .. n SV .. happy trails :))

IF you had previous used build helper menu N and checked connect with base you have to either uncheck this or restart your game to be able to place terrainplaceables like water o2 h20 generators or the survival constructor
