Re start the game.
How is the anticheat a big problem ?
Most servers run it with no issues.
Most issues Ive seen relate to conflicts of software inside the CLIENTS PC.......
And thats what it looks like here also.
As you can see there are not thousands of new threads today about the EAC not working...
Thousands of people use it daily with error free gaming.
It may be due to the fact I run the game off an SSD or perhaps because I swap between different output sound sources, but who knows?
Searched around, nothing seemed quite the answer but got a few pointers.
So what did work for me is this.
I found the EasyAntiCheat software location for Empyrion.
Was in
D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Empyrion - Galactic Survival\EasyAntiCheat
on my machine but will depend where you have set up your steam game area.
Ran the EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe program in there.
This offered a REPAIR button and voila.
The game ran sweet as a nut straight after.
As a note, I had rebooted previously the PC and this failed to work which led me to this.
Seems it is a bug with EasyAntiCheat that only a very few get, so probably why is not sorted out.
Reading through online stuff, this is NOT the only game that has this issue with EasyAntiCheat.
We do not even use it on our dedicated server as we know each other and therefore have it turned off.
Its an anti cheat, there really easy to mess up because they look for change, think for a minute about the thousands of different PC set ups, its totally normal that EAC has issues now and then, can I lock this now ? lol
By all means lock as I have found my solution.
Many thanks.
