Ningues and seaweed
You can guess what I'm asking. In order to power my drill, what's the best way of getting seaweed, or if it even spawns on this planet.

Take out neutral pois and make a t2 drill

I cant see any in the YAML file for the planet.
I may have missed it though it was a quick look.

Raid POI's for fuel.

most planets in the system have no seaweed growing on them. It is important to get a tiny bit of neodymium and make a T2 drill before you leave the starter planets, so that fuel is easy to make.

Seaweed does not match the water-depth at the moment. We are trying to find a solution in a future patch.

Couldn't they just add a half height variant of the seaweed for that planet?

I saw some tech tree comments whilst browsing the forum. Wouldnt it make sense to have some planet-specific techs for certain items? As in you need to learn about the planet to use things found there. Exploration and foraging would allow you to gain the exp to learn about the planet so you'd unlock the ability to make it from the local flora (or fauna, hehe. Seaweed monsters!)

Please do something about drill charges when starting on other planets. I started on ningues and can't get any dril charges. Spent all my ammo defending my base and now I'm stuck. I probably have to restart. I'm even by some water and there's no seaweed in it.

Its a random asset used for a bio-fuel recipe-

Couldn't an elegant solution be just add/make any number of the other random in game vegetation also be useable for making bio-fuel? Seems an efficient option.

Yes, please fix it. I love Ningues to survival :)

You can not play in Ningues the same way you play in Omicron or Akua.

Everything is scarcer. The little resource you have at the beginning of the game should be used for ammunition and weapons, not for bases, as it is in the neutral POIs that you will find ammunition for the Drills (both T1 and T2).

Ningues also has no fiber, plan with that in mind.

I chose Ningues as the starting planet on a server. How can I get out of the planet if there is no Neodymium?:steamfacepalm:

Did you even read the thread? POIs will have Neodymium.

One of the dinosaurs on Ningues drops seaweed when you kill it (sometimes) The OVIRAPTOR - looks like a dinosaur with feathers - benefit to this - also get meat for food.
