Your may even able to reproduce it ? IF so please let us know with step by step instructions. That would be the biggest help to get it fixed so it doesn't happen again in a future build
ty
In this case the ship was in orbit while the server restarted. After the restart the ship was back on planet marked 13.17km away from the player.
May i ask the specs of your server cpu ram ghz bandwhith of internetconnection (up and down) as well then ? maybe also if you know if those player wich it happens to get high pings (above 300)
The other solution
Step 1: place a starter block for the entity type you are trying to copy
Step 2: get the id of this new starter block and the id of the entity you are copying
Step 3: shut down server
Step 4: copy the contents from the original entity's shared folder (.areas files) and paste them into the starter block's shared folder
Step 5: start server back up
Shared folder should be located in
Empyrion/save/game/gamename/shared
The folders you are looking for will start with
SV_Player_
If the entity you are trying to copy is an SV.

The player is not known for high pings, and he is not the only one loosing ships - but he is the most active player on our server, up to 12-14 hours a day...
