How do I make an Auto-Miner

Hi just got the game yesterday.
I have 10 Auto miner Cores but cannot figure out how to make the actual auto miners.

I looked through the templaates and cannot find the scematic.

I currently am on Chapter 2 or 3 of the tutorial, have my base pretty much built but cannot for the life of mee figure out how to make the auto-miners...

I hit F3 and looked to see if I need to unlock it.... it does not seem to be there unless I'm missing it.

I did a seach on the forum but couldn't find an answer in the previous topics, any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

In your Tech tree, you can unlock them from level 12

So I probably need to unlock the ADV Fabricator? I managed to guess this, that the advanced Fabricator will have that blueprint/scematic to build the auto miner, is that correct?

You can make them in a large constructor. tier 1 needs flux coils and tier 2 and 3 need power coils

You don't need the advanced constructor. In the tech tree (F3 by default) you can unlock a lot of items that aren't available to you at the beginning of the game. Under MISC, at the far bottom right you can unlock Tier1, Tier2, and Tier3 autominers at levels 12, 15, and 17 (I'm going from memory on the levels), respectively. Once you unlock them, you can construct them in the large constructor or the advanced constructor. They take at least one power coil each (level 1 is 1, level 3 is 5) which take 2 erestrium and 2 zascosium ingots to make. This makes them 'late game' items. One thing to mention, you can pick them up after placing them, but you cannot disassemble them, so I recommend waiting to produce all 10 lvl3 auto-miners, since cores are rare to non-existant in POIs.

Well I'll keep plugging away and try and figure it out but honestly I have looked all over the tech tree and there is no Auto miner shown. Do you think if I unlock something else first it might show itself?

Thanks for your help and all guys, I'm just still confused. It's no big deal though, I have some more playtime until I reach Level 12. I'm probably about leverl 10 now I think; I'll have to look. Once I get up in the levels and start unlocking some more stuff I guess it'll all sort itself out.

Sure wish I had an auto miner right now though.

the scroll bars are difficult to see, but they're there. You will need to scroll to find the auto-miners

I did scroll up and down. :(

I will check once more but i have already looked a handfull of times and do not see auto miners.

Is it possible the newer version changed and you are all thinking from memory they are there and have been moved in th newest patch/

In the misc section of the tech tree scroll down and use bottom scroll to scroll from left to right then you will see them.

OH WOW
I looked and looked and looked and missed that corner. They really need to fix those boxes so they are larger or are more recognizable that there are more componnets to the tech tree hidden.
I literally looked theere over a half dozen times and missed it.
