Are you able to put thrusters and jets inside of a ship?(hidden)

I am looking to make a CV and wanted to know if you can put your thrusters and jets inside your ship and literally have them inside a cube of blocks.

Yes they dont damage the next block, go for it.

Now you can, thruster s flame damage isn't implemented yet. Probably in the future you ll not make it.
