Dedicated Admin

Hello,

i am hosting an own dedicated server for me and a few freinds..

Now, i cant set myself as an dmin

I already edited the adminconfig.yaml

in the folder Steam\steamapps\common\Empyrion - Dedicated Server\Saves

to

I look at many trubleshootings already but i really cant find the error

You did it right. Just make sure you rename file taking out example out of adminconfig.yaml

Looks like path is also correct, thought maybe wrong location of file or got confused with folders, that's not the case. Your SteamID64 is also correct.

I just tested this, worked for me (obviously repalce steamid so you're admin and not me). Also make sure to restart server after making any changes.

The way you know it workd is if you can type commands in game console like itemmenu or godmode and so on.

after a while i put the file into every folder i could find in the dedicated server buzt it still didnt work

For me it sits in

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Empyrion - Dedicated Server\Saves

Took effect immediately after i restarted server.

So i fully deinstalled and installed Empyrion and the Empyrion Dedicated Server and it works now
