Game doesnt flow like other clicker games where they sort of set you up to hit a wall just in time to reset for a return that will get you past the wall, rise and repeat.
i find myself grinding for very small returns, relying on pop up clickables to progress and that progression yeilds almost no progress....which means if im not putting 100% of my focus on the game im making almost no progress, which sort of defeats the purpose of games like this imo... even when i hit milestones and get a character skills, which btw are spaced way too far apart.
The retuns on early heroes are pretty bad for the cost as well...theres no proper scaling on cost of hero leveling and return, meaning you can spend a crazy amount of gold getting lower level character to a new skill and have the cost spent not equal to one level on the last hero on the list youve bought....granted a few skills do more than just ally dps but still
im trying to figure out if there is actually any strategy to this game or if its just laid out in a non sensical format, like it was made by people who know clicker games exist, maybe played one for a few minuets, but dont understand why people play them or what makes them so damn addicting.
i might do my second reset now or wait until a night of offline farming, first reset did almost nothing unlocking all allies dps to rank 1 then putting another 7 into all dps but not having enough to get the rank...
No noticable increase in early game speed or leveling progress i couldnt tell i had reset unlike every other clicker game where you at least feel the increase in speed early on.
anyway, still looking for some form of substance here. it really is looking to be just an excuse to look at cartoon boobs at this point.
If I look at Choyo in level 5 in this game now she has STR 85, whereas in another game with no artifacts/pets at level 5 she has STR 77, or basically a 10% increase. Presumably I am also getting 20% more gold gain from the spirits spent there. I was kind of assuming each spirit spent at each rank was adding the bonus displayed, not that you needed to spend 10/20 spirits and complete the rank just to get that single boost, given how long each spirit tends to take to get, and that you can't really do speed runs on the faster early levels given Rebirth is at level 600 on Haru, which is still probably going to take several days to get to that point again.
It must be said the game is going a lot faster now than I remember it being on the first run, not because of the spirits spent though, but because of the clickables added and the increased rate of treasure chests, so it might be feasible to play immediate Rebirth runs in a couple of hours of active play, getting around 20 spirits each time and around a 10% boost at the earlier, cheaper ranks, getting faster and faster with each run until the standard "clicker" strategy of ascend/rebirth once you stop instant killing things when the runs can finally start moving in the later zones/allies, but hard to be sure at this point in my second run.
That's what I wanted to try. Do see if it's better to rush and rebirth as earlie has possible. Seems like it is.
Oh and Running-Target, obviously I use an autoclicker.. It really helps with those pink cats and fountain.. They are key to victory really.
Did anyone tried the "Attack Speed" artifact?
So you mean exactly as I described in the last paragraph of my comment?
Attack Speed probably makes allies attack more than once per second, which could be really good later in the game (Sadly it doesn't show up under Statistics atm, neither does crit dmg).
At the moment I just focus on artifacts to make rebirth runs faster (gold > all dmg > crit dmg / click dmg).
I'm not using any auto-clicker program. BUT.. I do have a programmable keyboard which lets me set a button to toggle on/off left click, auto repeat, delay of 0.00 seconds. Which is obviously handy. (It is lol)
Having read the rebirth posts not knowing what on earth I was doing for the first 30 minutes of playing yesterday, I decided today after my first rebirth to see how long it would take to solo Haru up to 450 just spamming points into her levels + the gold fountain thing when it becomes available at level 200.
Last 2 times through have taken me pretty much an hour each exactly. Whilst just leaving the game running in auto click mode and checking it every 5 minutes whilst I play FFXI on my other comp.
