Which Artifacts to focus in?

Does anyone who has experience with clicker games in general, or who has Rebirthed at least once in this game so far, have an idea of what the top 3 or so Artifacts to focus on early-game are?

It might seem obvious to go for Click Damage right off the bat, but by the time you unlock Takeko her DPS gain per level far outclasses Haru (and it only gets worse from there). Attack speed might be helpful if the increase wasn't so minimal, and so it seems like Gold Gain is the 'safest' option.

I assume you only have about 20-25 Spirits to spend by the time of your first Rebirth, so what should I be putting them into?

I would at least get rank 1 of everything. Because the return is very much diminishing after rank 1. (For instance, 5 spirits to get +10% gold gain at rank 1. 10 spirits to get 12.5% gold gain at rank 2, which is only 2.5% more.)
I got 15 points for my first rebirth and I got gold gain and ally damage rank 1. But then it didn't do much. The game is still hard as hell.
I still need to figure out the game's mechanics and figure out a long time strategy, or if the game could even be "beaten" in my lifetime.

Sounds like Gold + Ally is the best course of action then. Takeko really does like 80% of the work/damage (literally) by the time you get close to Rebirth-level.

Agreed. I'd like to know how many rebirths or spirits I need to get reasonably strong in this game.
Edit: As a long term strategy, I think boss timer is actually a very important one.
While gold and damage buffs helps with farming efficiency, boss timer buff lets you get through those boss barriers much more easily, and thus leading to a much more efficient farm, and more spirits to get from each rebirth.

Even with rapid clicking you can't beat the boss without grinding. ♥♥♥♥ is just crazy.

I noticed that sometimes one of those mouse things (Spirits?) would pop up on screen can you catch those?
I always see them when I'm off the computer.

xD Oh well that explains a bit I guess.

It's kind of doable at least to Zone 14ish with mad mashing on bosses with the gold fountain skill over and over again to amass dosh, but the game slows down super hardcore at that point. In progress that is rawr.

It's mildly amusing how you can actually give the game slowdown from all the gold coins if you use that skill and click like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I'm pretty sure my arm muscles have gained at least 280% power since I started playing this game. U・x・U

I have seen them popping on the middle of the screen on the background , they are pretty rare since I only have seen 2 so far.
But I'm usually looking for coins chests so gods know how many I have missed.

If you catch those spirits you get some gold coins

First rebirth now, since this morning, at 12-2.
I did gold gain by the way, as that seemed to be the fastest way to the next rebirth.

i say focus on 2. gold and dmg. doing more than that will slow u down because 20-25 wont cut it after a while because they start to cast 30+ artifacts which will make it so one lvl is two rebirths and so to be 3. progression in this is very slow.

i reach rebirth right at or before 13-4. Not hard at all
