But I'm not so sure, since the game has been a glitchfest recently, people seem to have difficulties even in dowloading the game.
I find it much more comfortable to play the game with a controller rather than with a keyboard.
Edit: so far the switch pro controller works like an xbox controller (you'll see prompts for that) everywhere except in the menus, where you sometimes need mouse input.
On one hand, I like the precision that WASD gives me over a joystick - makes it a little simpler to do some of the platforming. On the other hand, I've never fully beaten the punching minigame with a keyboard, and I think it might have been mildly easier with a controller. So whatever control scheme you're most comfortable with, just go with it.
As for how it plays, this is one of those PC games where mouse & keyboard isn't suitable: it's hard to find decent keys to bind everything to comfortably, at least it was for me. So I recommend using a controller for Psychonauts as it handles better that way, compared to most PC games.
