blitz is broken

as the blitz commands require multiple keys but the blitz menu only supports one key the blitz is broken. is it possible to get past the boss without it?

Huh? You select blitz, then hit the directions listed for the blitz, then hit... whatever button you have mapped to confirm selections. (on the SNES it'd be 'A' and on the Xbone it'd be 'B'... the far right button)

And no, you can't get past the boss where you find Sabin without doing it.

Select "Blitz" then hit "Left" then "right" then "left" then confirm your blitz input.

that is not working because no combinations is functional. only 1 key can be input at a time and no blitz supports that.

I'm using a controller and it works properly, even with D-Pad, I can press Left + Down and the game counts it as LeftDown key. My controller's D-Pad is a four-axis type, not eight.

Vargas boss fight only require you to use the move Left Right Left though. you can do it without combination keys.

This is the android version. It should be functionally very similar to this, only the arrows surround Sabin and they light up when you hit a key.

Try opening the Blitz menu with the ATB on "wait" and just spin your thumbstick around, or just hit your directional keys on your keyboard. You should see the directions light up.

If it's not doing that, what specifically is it doing?

the game only ever records 1 key. maybe the patch broke something. only 1 key ever light up and that is the one i hold in.

What do you mean by "the game only ever records 1 key."?

What visually happens when you go into blitz and try to hit... up down up?

Please don't take this the wrong way ok? Are you releaseing left before you hit right?

If you try to hit them at the same time on the keyboard it won't work.

You need to hit left, release left, hit right, release right, hit left, then confirm.

controllers can not go both left and right at the same time so in order to go right i have to release left. the game however never records the combination but instead just 1 key.

You dont have to them at the time, it records 1 key at a time so for example, if the blitz in the tutorial tells you to do Left Right Left, you move the joystick left, then right and then left.

So, if I'm reading it correctly, the first key you hit lights up, but then no other directions light up after.

Sounds like a bug to me if I'm understanding you.

So if you open blitz, then hit diagnal up and left, then release, then hit right, it will still be on up/left.

Have you tried switching to the keyboard?

It might be an issue related to the controler.

Any kind of controler emulation doesn't work well, since the game is doing its own emulation.

if i move it left then let go the light vanish from the arrow. they should add an option to automate blitz so that people can just select a blitz from a menu. in the earlier version i only used the earlier blitz because the others were too difficult.

Its normal behavior, everytime you hit a direction, a light will flash on that direction and then vanish. Each time you do this, that direction is ''remembered'' in the Blitz and once you press the Confirm button, the blitz will be executed.
