Anyone know how to do Lethe River exploit?
Just wondering if it's possible to do the Lethe River xp exploit, or if they got rid of that possibility?

Isn't that just repeatedly going around the loop? The loop is still there, so you should be able to do it by constantly selecting "up" at the second choice. I imagine auto-battle makes it even faster... You might need a turbo controller to fully automate it as I don't know if simply keeping the button depressed is enough to select a direction.

I'm not sure which choice will make it loop but I think if you keep choosing the default choice, you'll get into the loop.

Choose up at the very last branch of the river to keep going around in the loop.

There used to be a bug (I have no idea what it was called or if ANYONE else even discovered it :D ) There was this island in the world of ruin I can't remember the location but I will probably come back here when I buy this version and post a screen shot if I remember. Anyway, if you grinded on this certain island I'm not sure if it was via chance or how many battles you did, but I did this EVERY single time I played the game when I was a kid so I know it wasn't a one time deal. You would get every single item in the game at X99 in your inventory. The screen would glitch out and look all weird then all of the sudden you would just have everything... not saying I WANT to do that now but I wanted to ask if anyone else has ever heard of that one. My characters were stupid OP after that because I could equip scimitars and all the other end game weapons and armor to everyone.

You can just make an auto hotkey script (or something similar) that presses the left, confrim, and right button over and over - and auto battle anywhere in the game if you wanted... but the above says how to use the river one.

This is a good way to get weak characters by the end of the game :P

This is the sketch glitch, which was only a bug in the 1.0 version of the US version of FFVI, it's been fixed!

Yeah, it was funny how the trick was such a big "get strong characters quick" thing back in the old days, except it's a much better idea to keep your levels reasonably low until you get Bismarck and Zona Seeker. Sabin with 20 levels of Zona Seeker under his belt makes a difference of thousands of points of damage with Phantom Rush.

Battles work great, but keeping the button depressed does not work for repeatedly going in the circle.

Only needs one command (the accept command) repeated. Is there a very simple way to set up a hotkey that functions the same as a turbo button? I am inexperienced when it comes to scripting and macros

Wow I looked it up, very interesting. It always happened to me at random I never knew how to force it sometimes after an hour of leveling sometimes 15 minutes. But the thing is it only ever happened on this one same island and I would always get the exact same items.
