Stupid question, where is the earliest I can get a "Rename Card" at?

I was rather stupid in my naming of characters. Not that I named them a bunch of garbage or garbled English letters put together but I just tried different names this time through but I remembered firmly what I USED to name the characters and I truly wish I wouldn't have tried something new is all. For instance, I used to call Locke, Bud and the King, Stu and I truly hate that I left the names a default instead.

I know I can get a rename card in the Colluseum toward the end but I truly do not wish to go that far and I am too far to just start over as the first three hours suck rather hard and I am looking forward to the second half or at least the Opera House and the town of magic users.

Is there any place I can just get a rename card or any cheat or file edit that I could just change to change the names of two or three of my characters?

Thanks, but if anyone has a different way I would be glad to hear it. I did download the Cheatengine program but I was thinking if there were just a save game editor, I would be truly happy to edit it instead though. But if there are no other ideas, I will try Cheat Engine.
