Stuck in Dragon's Den

I'm following this guide. Which apparently no one looks at or is subscribed to anymore.

I'm stuck at this part, in Part 3:

Party 2 was on the switch that allowed Party 1 to get to the second save point. I go up, there's a cave, and it leads to a dead end. There's no stone to jump on, the path just ends abruptly.

I think I used exactly the same guide (though I read mine on GameFaqs). It's certainly doable, though the wording sometimes gets confusing true. If you're having issues, cross check the same place in a couple different guides (once again I recommend gamefaqs).

Edit: This isn't the room with the 4T weight is it? Maybe that is what you are missing?

I posted some videos in The Gau Bible on how to get from 1 Dragon to the next, including some ideas on how I beat them. Go to the Dragon's Den section and watch from the Boss part, specially the 3 videos I leave in Part 5.

As for the image, you need to get the party that helped Edgar get there around (through the Skull Dragon room) and get that team to press a button that will construct the bridge to help Edgar across.

To be honest, I really don't like the directions that guide has or how the original creator (Nerd House really just Cut and Pasted guides into that section and hoped for the best) handles everything in that dungeon, espcially his lack of faith in God Emperor Gau and boss fights.

.Zunnoab's second image best explains it, although the 4T weight push is completely optional. I didn't need to do it anyways since the Teams I had setup were battle capable.

You don't need the thingy the 4T weight opens to get the third team there? It's been months so my mind is foggy. My paths are about going back in after already having cleared to the end too.

You only push the weight there if you want to either:
- Swap teams around (either teammates or who faces what) for the Kaiser Dragon attempt

OR

- For Omega Weapon, you can skip the Lava Bridge puzzle and the switch part afterwards by having all 3 teams go to the Turtle Room and 2 of the teams travel East and West in the pond. The 4T weight becomes mandatory here since it helps 1 of your 3 teams get into position for the portals to Omega Weapon.

They are, but when you are facing Kaiser, you are doing the dungeon for the first time, so your path through it will be different thanks to the Seals.

Once you beat him and Omega takes his place, you can do the shortcut through the Turtle Pond region so you don't have to travese through the lava bridge crap.
