Started game on a device has me make a new character.
If i connect to the servers i play on will it connect as a new player? or will it continue my old character and progress. Im not sure i want to test this out incase it locks my from my current progress.

Avatars are saved on your local computer. The avatar you used when first joining a server stays with it forever, as long as you login with the same account. The new avatar made on a second PC will hence not override or change your player on a server you already joined.
