What killer to buy/level first?
I got enough shards to buy my first killer. I'm thinking bubba or clown for their perks. Thoughts?

Does dredge have good perks? I was considering Blight as well.

Blight is hard to play and you need some experience with game before you´ll play him. Dredge is also kinda hard but not so much. It´s better than Blight to play him as novice. You´ll need to understand a lot of things and learn few tricks but it´s strong killer. And yes, he has good perks but more like for other killers, specially Huntress I would say.

Blight is a very good killer (If Nurse ever gets nerfed/reworked then he'll probably be the best in the game) and his perks are decent. Dredge has Dissolution which is super underrated but otherwise you'd be playing him for his power, which is fun tbh. Overcharge got buffed so Doc may be in consideration too and I personally like how he plays

depends on your playstyle, i would say bubba but hes not one you can buy with shards, so probably blight or oni (if you have enough skill to master them, they are pretty op) if thats not your playstyle then i think dredge is pretty cool and a good and fun killer to play

Killers to start and learn, shows Clown???

I mean I didn't expect much from him to begin with, but Clown's one of the harder ones to play effectively, at least until you get addons and some perks. Most people can't use yellow bottles for ♥♥♥♥, and if you can't swap effectively you end up having 0 map pressure and mediocre antiloop. Bruh.

Take it from someone who actually knows how to play Clown, and leave him for when you've got some perks and addons. I agree with Wraith and Legion though, especially Legion for Discordance, aka the best tracking perk in the entire game.

Legion is nice for practicing mechanics of the game, their ability mostly plays into mobility/injuring and finding survivors. Really good for familiarizing yourself with things.

Legion can be bullied a bit in higher ranks if survivors know to hard focus objectives, and split up but is plenty viable all ranks. Your early game is how you snowball with em most games. Regardless-

All the perks are decent too, especialy discordance.

Other than that, Oni and blight are fun but probably wouldn’t be my first pick. Watch some videos on how the characters play. :thehook:

Uhm clown became my second main after legion and i didnt had really hard times getting good games with him. I dont even use the yellow bottles his basic bottles slow down survivors so much you always land a hit, not even addons required for the basic power honestly. He doesnt have map pressure that is true but when you know where to throw and how to properly use the basic bottles he is super strong.

But... But if you use the yellow bottles liberally to truck around the map by flinging them far ahead as you run, you get map pressure! >_< I've seen too many people just using purple bottles and it drives me up the wall! Aaaaaa!

You don't really need addons when you know to use him, but I'll give the DBD team credit; Clown addons are almost universally all satisfying as hell to use and allow for a bunch of different playstyles.

Thick Cork Stopper+Smelly Inner Soles are a nice combo for general use and make it nice to reload in a yellow cloud. Or alternately you can just go for +3 bottles and reload less. Take the Garish Makeup Kit+Cigar Box and every yellow bottle is 7 seconds of wallhacks in a 16m radius... I fuggin love maining Clown, bros! :Pitter5:

My personal favourite meme build is Agitation, NOED, Play With Your Food paired with Makeup Kit+Solvent Jug. You can get effing FAST at endgame with that stuff, and it's also a great way to near guarantee basement hooks from nearly anywhere. Just chuck a bottle on their body, then chuck another one a few metres ahead where you want to go before you pick up for maximum boost.

Edit: Any budding clown mains want idea for an actual good build when you got some practice, try Discordance, A Nurse's Calling, Hex: Plaything and Hex: The Third Seal. If you can KO and hook a survivor early, they're going to be unable to see your aura, their friends auras or hear you approaching at all. It lacks gen regression but unless you get god tier sweatlords or refuse to use yellow bottles to travel, that won't be an issue.
