Killer is too easy?

I've been playing a lot of killer games lately and I'm getting 8 4 kills every 10 games, I'm not posting this to brag or anything, I haven't played killer for a long time and just casually playing the game for the past years spending around 5 hours per week. I don't know what update made the game this unbalanced or if the sweaty ass SWF left the game. I just felt something is off and DBD is not the same game I used to play.

Damn, Wish I had those stats, I’ve been playing Killer for the event and for every match that ends in a 3k or 4K, I’ll get a streak of 5 or 6 games where I’ll get 0, maybe 1K if I get a hook in endgame and they don’t bother saving.

Considering just becoming a full-time survivor main at this point.

If you plan on solo-queuing-I hate to be the bearer of bad news: but it’s much worse than killer.

As for OP: are you playing the event mode? I ask b/c I’m pretty sure there’s no MMR in the event mode. I can assure you the sweaty SWF teams are still very much around-if you’re not running into ANY, that’s some amazing RNG matchmaking luck.

That being said, TL:DR: the game used to be survivor sided, it is now killer sided-people will say otherwise, but according to the devs themselves the game is balanced for killers to win more matches than survivors (60/40). If you want more of a challenge, try playing a killer you’re unfamiliar with, playing perkless, or if you use strategies like camping, tunneling and slugging for your 4ks-consider….not doing that.

yeah, I find all the moves faster (gen kicks, pallet, etc...) than before last time I played killer really hard was around 2020 (pandemic days since I have plenty of time to play).

That's because u play only 5 hours a week and your mmr is pretty low. Usually, when u win 2-3 games with 4 kills you will get swf party that will destroy you in couple of minutes. So don't be that confident of yourself - it's your low mmr.

I chained 4k games for 16 hours as Ghosty, I gave up in the end, still encountered people that barely started... MMR ? I barely see any SWF anymore, back a while ago, I used to chain games versus SWF, they should really rebalance how the match making works, because I don't see "high-mmr" matches a lot, when It should, it feels like it's 95% connectivity/queue matches and 5% mmr matches (and i'm generous, feels more like 99/1)

That's impossible. A lot of streamers and me myself always against swf when i win couple games in a raw. It's 2 options:

1 You are too strong for the most of survs. Less likely.

2 You are lying. Most likely.

Choose your destiny. Anyway, system works like this: you win 2-3 games-> you go against strong survs-> you loose 2-3 games against swf-> you go back to baby survs.

And also I would add, at this point, just play for fun, had a crazy SWF squad, and I got entertained from start to finish, i've been chasing constantly, so just learn to play with survivor (like make rules for yourself such as no palet break unless it's a unloopable one, no sacrifice until 1 gen left or end-game etc etc... never respond to unhooks, never kick gens) You'll see it's not that easy... when you let survivor play

This is one of the most amazing team I encountered ever since I began DBD, and also since they removed DH and all

It's literally what happened since OP said that played last killer match in 2020, its MMR got literally resetted to 0, so the killer MMR it's the same as when you play the game for the first time

According to Stats, watching Others and my personal Experience, Killers are currently very balanced, even slightly below the 60% Killrate BHVR aims for

Rank reset every 13th of the month and you only play 5 hour per week. That literally not enough to raise your rank to the level where you fight competent survivor.

The rank reset has nothing to do with MMR. It only decides how many BP you get on the 13th of the month.

Ranks are just Bloodpoint Generators. Im not even sure if they used to mean anything even earlier in 2018
