fellow Xeno players, is this a pretty good perk loadout?
I have a full set of tier 3 perks, Ultimate weapon, Rapid brutality, Whispers and sloppy butcher. I think I have won at least 7 out of 10 games with this loadout. is it good or is there a better combination for synergies and such?

Much love, from Venom. <3

chase and tracking loadout? Yes
Loadout that will help you against more challenging teams? Not really

Whispers/ultimate weapon are ok but not very necessary. You have footsteps, an addon for seeing turrets, and extreme speed in tunnels to track. You can use any aura perks in tunnels as well. You can also listen to the sounds of gens being repaired.

Tinkerer, pop, and discordance all give big value with tunnels giving fast access to gens. Sloppy is fine but xeno doesn't have any must use addons so you could use your addons for hemo/mangled and save a perk slot instead.

Rapid brutality is bad and especially so on xeno. Unlike most killers, you gain bloodlust while "holding" your power. While you likely won't need bloodlust, there aren't many situations where the small speedboost is worth giving it up. You generally only M1 when they try to juke the tail instead of committing to the animation. Bear in mind that this may change if the fixes to tail recovery significantly change the killer.

Try Save the Best for Last instead of Sloppy Butcher, it works so well with Rapid Brutality.

whose perk was that? I don't recall. Was that the Trickster? or the Clown? Sounds like an entertainer perk so that's what I'm thinking.

Whispers is largely obsolete in the face of a bunch of other tracking perks, it's not useless but there's so many aura reading and "loud noise notification" and scream causing perks that it's kind of odd to me that you would go for that out of them all especially since you have one of the best perks for that exact purpose already equipped (Ultimate Weapon.)

Sloppy butcher is kind of an odd choice for xeno because you're going to be tail whipping more often than not, which I don't believe counts as a basic attack.

Rapid brutality is not bad necessarily but that one poster above does have it dead on that the tail whip on alien still lets you build bloodlust and whatnot so there's no real point in wasting a perk slot on something you would get more value out of actively not having.
Rapid Brutality is something more for killers that don't get much value out of bloodlust in the first place (or actively don't ever build it up because of their ability set) and also do basic attacks frequently enough to trigger it, there aren't many in the game but it's got niche functionality and in that niche it's quite good.

I'm gonna assume you don't have many killers or levels in alien then, tell me if I'm wrong though.
Additionally, what killers do you have? This would make it easier to recommend perks since you don't have them all.
A quick build with perks you absolutely have access to would be Alien Instinct (lets you know the next most important person to attack) Fearmonger (covers up what few gaps exist in the Alien's stealth capabilities and generally just lets you ambush people better) No One Escapes Death (activates on last gen popping to give you a comeback capability which pairs well with alien mostly thanks to speed boost but also exposes all survivors) and Bitter Murmur (knowing where the people who just finished a gen are can help you get hooks and kills or give you general knowledge of if the survivors are clustering together to push gens extra hard or splitting up to pressure you harder and on alien the tunnels let you pretty much instantly intercept them)

Alien is strong enough even with these relatively basic perks thanks to having some of the strongest addons in the game right now, and a very frontloaded ability set.

its not bad but when you can drop whispers and use STBFL because Rapid Brutality and STBFL together is crazy good i was surprised at how effective it was even with 2 stacks of STBFL

I just have the killer expansion, and the alien DLC, plus the base game killers, if that helps any. ^^;

It's not too bad. But I recommend you switch out Whispers for Spies From The Shadows and Rapid Brutality for either Save The Best For Last (if you have it) or a slowdown perk.

Xenomorph is already very strong in chase, so there is little reason to run any chase perks. STBFL is an exception because it synergises greatly with the extra range of the tail attack.

Other than that, your loadout lacks slowdown. I don't know which perks you have unlocked and I don't recommend Jolt because you are going to work with your tail a lot. Pop Goes the Weasel and Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance work fantastic on this killer.

If you don't have any good slowdown perks, then I recommend you use another information perk instead. Xenomorph's strength is in traversing the map and ending chases quickly. This can serve as a natural slowdown on the game, so focussing on that can make up for it.

Pain resonance + Deadlock is always a fun slowdown combo to use, most players aren't going to stop repairing as you hook someone on a scourgehook

Discordance is a great one for alien, most killers really, well worth prestiging Legion for just on its own merit.
Alien gets a lot of value out of it as it offers them information on which generators are hotspots where at least two people are present.

Corrupt Intervention is amazing on many many killers, worth prestiging Plague for on its own merit.
Keeps the gens generally closest to the survivors from being repaired by them in the early game for an extended period of time, which means that they'll be forced to repair ones closer to you and as Alien you can check generators so much faster than most other killers that you'll get even more value out of it.
It can easily get you several hooks possibly even an outright kill before they can even get one generator done all by itself because of how much pressure you can apply.
Additionally, Infectious Fright is pretty good for locating other people that run off a little but stick close to try and flashlight/flashbang save or follow you to near immediately unhook the second you leave, and Alien is insanely good at closing the gap next to instantly so it can turn 1 hook into 2 easily.

Hex: Devour Hope is good on a lot of killers but it's pretty good on Alien as well.
Alien gets a lot of value out of it because you're likely going to be triggering it basically every time you hook someone and Alien can very easily get M1s off of a tunnel exit to get value out of the Exposed effect, and even if you don't down them with an M1 you still get the ability to execute people once you get 5 tokens which is high value for Alien because of how easily they can down someone in the first place.

All 3 of Deathslinger's perks are really really good on many different killers in different ways, Dead Man's Switch and Gearhead in particular would work well on Alien.
Gearhead would work well because you can capitalize on the aura reading incredibly well due to high mobility thanks to the tunnels, Dead Man's because you're going to be running people off of generators constantly especially right after hooking someone.

Hex: Blood Favor is great on many many killers because it essentially keeps a person you're chasing from being able to use pallets for 15 seconds and pressures them a lot more, although Alien can hit over pallets and such you still get value out of it because a pallet being in your way or stunning you can make a chase go from high value to losing a gen in one move no matter what killer you're playing pretty much.
Additionally, Hex: Undying is a relatively common go-to perk for builds that use any kind of Hex heavily (Pentimento is the other most common go-to for it because you get value back from survivors cleansing your hex totems instead of just defense from it for one cleanse, but it depends on how many Hexes you're running and you don't have access to Artist anyways.)

All 3 of Trickster's perks have high value for killers in different ways, but in this particular case Hex: Crowd Control would probably be really good for Alien as pretty much an alternative choice to Blood Favor.
On that same token Bamboozle would also work quite well for Alien, as you could use it for cutting off loops better thanks to the tail whip's insane range.

Well i use Xenomorphs Unique Perks only and its working perfect for me <3
also, does anyone have a way to counter the flashlights? Uusually I just look all the way down or away from whoever has a flashlight and it usually works, but doesn't always work.
