Not everyone camps. But n increasing number do. It is possible to have 3-4 games in a row with hook 1 camping. And its possible to have 8/10 games be camping. The problem is its rewarded with high scores. Indeed the highest scores relatively speaking. Often those whose games are ruined are scoring 2-15k, while these zero skill campers get 30-40k.

Then add in pay to win Wesker, with his camping skill - zoom back to grab. And that is half the games.

I camp because it's easy.

In most of my games as soon as i hook someone 2 or even all 3 people come running for the save that's 2 or 3 people not repairing any gens so there's no reason for me to go anywhere, If multiple people aren't doing gens the only thing leaving does is give them the free unhook.

Also seeing people get this heated about it while i'm literally standing still doing nothing is just funny to me.

If someone is camping give them a reason to leave or just wait for the anti-camping patch in the meantime you can stay salty on the forums for our entertainment.

Ok let's clarify something real quick though - If you hook someone and another survivor is obviously nearby, going after them and stopping the free unhook is NOT camping

i get it if the surv is toxic with flash light or t bags behind pallets or its the 1% of tryhard surv but the every time a casual player get camped to death

"literally standing still doing nothing" if its near the hook and you wait for the death of the surv thats the problem thats toxic , but if you defend the unhook and survs storming the hook thats fine im doing it myself but standing still to the point were someone trys to unhook and you grab them thats just toxic and after your message i suppose you are a killer only player and never rly experienced the other side

It is not incidental tunneling or camping. This is a plague of people who come with it in mind, hook the first person and then camp and tunnel them out. Often one person is dead, and no one else has been chased or hooked at all.

The only reason someone else may have been chased and not hooked, is that this type often can't win a chase, (because all they ever do is camp). And if someone is not tunnelled out exclusively first, its because they lost them in a chase. This is happening a lot If you said one in five games i think you would be over generous. Its very sad.

You complain about camping without realizing why killers camp in the first place, much like BHVR trying to "fix" facecamping without understanding going for chases and hooking everybody 3 times is completely unreasonable with hoe fast generators are
