Speed bonus should not stack
Here is my opinion, if different perk use to give you speed bonus they shouldn't stack
coz it's just too powerful
the majority of killer run at 4.6m/s and survivor 4m/s
BUT use the new meta-combo: "Made for this" + "Hope" and you can run at 4.4m/s as survivor

Be honest, it's almost impossible to take down a survivor with this perk 2 if he has the basics in loop

Made for This has got to be on the short list for perks that need nerfing/changing

I'd rather we just changed the actual problem, Made For This, and left the other speed sources alone. No one was complaining about Hope or Blood Pact before Made For This.

It's like when everyone wanted to destroy Boons as a whole, when the only one anyone actually had a problem with was Circle of Healing. And now they don't.

Well I don't have a real issue with hope or made for this to be honest, it's just the stack of speed bonus the real issue
I get the feeling that is where the game is headed. I don't like it because it makes the game less dynamic and interesting as well as severely limiting interaction between killer abilities, perks, and addons.

It's the easiest solution to a growing problem so I am expecting it. All thanks to MFT.

If we don’t let speed bonuses stack tho it should be the same in killer and survivor equally.

Agree if it's going to affect one should affect both.

Spirit is 4.4m/s that perk combo is disgusting.

Yeah but she can go at 7m/s with her power (I think)

Pardon the interruption. What do you mean when you ask this? Because there are numerous speed boosts for killers: inherent power speed boosts, bloodlust, add ons (such as ms up when doing x), and then of course perks.

You could answer that question with hundreds of combinations at least.

You mean the power that makes her unable to see survivors and needs her to stay still for a second?

Right now the only perk I remember from my head that increases killer speed is "Play with your Food"? Which requires you to lose chase against Obsession and you lose a stack for each basic attack or special attack hit or miss. So you hit a player with MFT you lose speed and he gains alot of speed.

Right now the only killer slower than a running survivor without perks is Nurse because of their ability to just blink so the Nurse has to practically move with Blink to catch up with survivors that are running away from it.
Huntress, Hag, Spirit, Gunslinger are the killers that walk at 4.4m/s only reason they walk at this speed is because they are good at anti-looping or have a way to stop/hit the player even when they are pressing W with that combination that might not even be enough.

Ok so just for an exemple
I love to play trapper (no joke) my power litterally stop me, my addon don't modify my speed so?
The bloodlust is active after 15 seconds (I think) of chase and you can EASILY shut down the bloodlust so once again, how am I suppose to deal with it?

PWYF and NOED are really the only two speed boost perks that are coming to mind, and they're both VERY temporary. Same with Bloodlust, it goes away from SO MANY interactions, that it's not really something that adds to the killers' gameplay, but helps pick things up to band aid an 'unfair' jungle gym type situation

I'm running exhaustion perks and addons until they nerf that perk combo, a few days i have a match as Trickster and i can never down one survivor looping with that in the shack

Hope is only the end game and don't run long. I don't rate it as a perk. The odds you are in chase in the end game, is 1 in 4 at best. And, even then it runs out, so a killer, may still run you down, if you cant time an exit right.

If the killer locks on to one of the others in end game, its really not much use in my experience.

Yes, but the only reason you have a problem with that is because of the ease of access of Made For This.

You've never seen anyone.. or at least, I HOPE you've never seen anyone complain about Hope/Blood Pact. Or Hope/Dark Theory.

So again, Made For This is dumb and should be changed. But if a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wants to move at 114% in the endgame with a teammate nearby, I say let him.

Also, unrelated-- if a Spirit has a problem catching a 110 survivor with their power, they probably shouldn't be playing Spirit.
