So everyone knows that the report system in this game is a placebo and doesnt actually do anything but flag the match for support ticket in case you want to spend the extra time recording everything yourself and sending in a manual report.
Yes yes thats out of the way now.
Thats not what this is about.

Wondering what others thoughts are on the giving of props.
Not sure if possible or if baked in coding but.
Is there any possibility to make the "Give Props" option to actually do something?
As far as i know the receiver of props gets nothing and has no way of knowing theyve received these props.
There should be a "simple" way to at least show these players that they were acknowledged by their teammates or perhaps the killer noting their abilities.
Or vice versa survivors that all get killed but still give props for a good fight, or on the side of mercy props given for a gifted hatch or the respect allowing a glyph to finish before the down.
Just examples of some potential Prop Giving moments. Perhaps just a thumbs up or nice job pop up at the menu but at least the acknowledgement of it doing anything at all.
On the more complicated side and less likely side but more incentive would be small bloodpoint bonuses.

Or just remove it if theres literally no point to it even existing.

It's all a placebo effect, it's for the sake of being there to make people feel like they are actually doing something.

Your best bet is to record every match and report the cheater / exploiter with video evidence to the website.

I like to do the prop thing sometimes (Still stupid it's in the report thing but whatever) for survivors who got abandoned by their team on first hook or who had a fun game with me. It'd be nice if the props gave like +5000BP to anyone who got one. It's not like that's a ton, so I don't see any possible harm it'd cause. :x

I'd love a properly implemented Props system. You can give out 1 prop per match, but not to anyone who you're partied with (to prevent abuse). When a player receives a prop, they get a small 1000 bloodpoint bonus. May not seem like a lot, but it's still a nice token of thanks or good sportsmanship.
