2020 Lunar event is happening afterall
Plus some free cosmetics.

Celebrate the Year of the Rat in Dead by Daylight with the Scarlet Swarm event. In honor of the Lunar New Year, the Fog will once again be transformed into a vibrant celebration full of fireworks and colorful lanterns.

From January 21st to February 4th, experience a new Lunar New Year themed lobby, themed Generators & Hooks, and the return of the Chinese Firecracker item as part of the festivities.

I mean, it is what it is, but Lunar event is definetely not what this game needs right now. Oh well, I guess I just have to wish survivors good luck in finding matches.

Balance isn't going to happen. Matchmaking has been brutal for 3 years now. I try and look at what will spice it up rather than pretend they will finally fix stuff that's been broken since release lol

Yeah it is something at least I suppose, I may actually play but only survivor (not looking forward to the queues) but wont be playing much other than this until the devs address why killers use Ruin so often

what is the event, im seeing the fireworks on gens and hooks but there are no rewards like previously, tokens etc

Oooh. I wanted something like the lamp thing of last year.
It was so funny to set traps in front of them. I chatched so many more survivors in that way than I had anticipated.
