What's going on with the servers?

Keep getting disconnected from the host as killer.

It is known that bhvr's dedicated servers had issues since day 1 and there could be multiple reasons. If the problem persists, I suggest trying to play a bit later.

I can't believe that's still a problem. You'd think after they killed off their other two games that they'd at least invest the time into proper server structure.

I ran couple of network traffic tests couple months ago. I have used open source soft called Wireshark to record all internet activity while playing dbd and what i have found out is that their dedicated servers aren't that stable and loses connectivity while everything else works perfectly. However, it doesn't happen often and it could vary from region to region.

That would make sense given the situations that have come about.

I had heard rumblings on the reddit about other killers being dropped randomly... I thought it was my internet the last few times, but I'm literally directly cabled so I dunno. :o

Maybe there's some weird bug or exploit that can just kick killers off? Good thing the DC penalty system isn't totally opaque and crappy.
