Permanently Ban
Hi there!

I have been hacked last week on my steam account and fortunately enough steam restored my account again, but unfortunately the person who hacked me played dbd and I think they were hacking on the game as well, since I got banned.
I emailed dbd with proof of being hacked from steam and everything, do you think they'll get my ban removed?
Is there another way to do it?
I didn't played dbd much, but sometimes was fun playing with friends but now I can't do that anymore :(

Did they stole your account when you tried to download hacks for dbd?

Pretty sure that your account safety is your own responsibility. Also they don't really want bans to be discussed on the forum. You will have to wait for an answer from the devs.

So, a hacker stole your Steam account just to specifically cheat in DBD?

Same thing happened to me like 12 years ago, someone hacked my email and stole my steam account.
They could clearly see my password was changed and used in a different part of the country but they pretty much told me to kick rocks and that "your account security is on you."

Not sure how you got hacked now with all the account protection they have...

I have this account for almost 10 years, use the same password since i created it. Not a particularly long password, but it does the trick.
I work with children and some of them play games. 100% of the time they get "hacked" is when they try to download a cheat. Are you sure you randomly got "hacked" for no reason?

Bans are not discussed her, so the situation is between you and DbD Support (or EAC if it's an EAC applied ban) however, the security of your account is your responsibility so I do not believe that a ban will be lifted for this reason.
