How do Survivors have fun playing the game?
I just don't see it.

Doing gens is boring, taking a killer on a stroll through a pallet field or jungle gym is just to literally waste time and watching your team mate get unhooked right in front of the killer's face is just tragic.

The only time i see survivors have a genuinely fun time is when they aren't trying to play the game at all and just troll with head on/flashlights or other memery the entire game.

Did you never play hide and seek or tag as a kid? :cozypoechris:

Well, the thrill of the chase. Cat and mouse are fun to people especially when mindgames are going on as well as countering them to see who's best in the chase or even attempting to fully lose the killer outright. While I do play more killer than survivor. It's pretty fun to get into those interactions on both sides. It's addictive to me

Well, its kinda like doing the dirty. The first few times you get in there, you have a lot of fun, like wow this is so cool, look at all this cool stuff and yippie woo. Right, then after a few times (or a few matches) you get in there your just like, is this really what I'm doing with my time right now, I could be sleeping. So it gets boring, and then as you said, eventually you just realize that going at it normally isn't fun so that is why you start doing it up in trees or in front of your parents, to add some spice to it. So the truth is, survivors have fun when they start off, then they give up on life, then the giving up on life leads them to just not caring about whether they live or die and they just have fun.

100% right title.

Survivors do gens, holding one button and sometimes skillcheck do this job less boring, then you escape or hooked, and even if escape.. where is fun?
Skillchecks is so boring. Developers do some mini game (maze minigame ... etc)
diversity gen repair. Then maybe I will play as survivor too.

This right here, is what drives the game. Killers that aren't complete @sshats, and survivors that generally wanna enjoy themselves, all agree on that. The chase, the get away. Its all adrenaline pumping. While it may appear that I am chasing one survivor sometimes, if they give me a helluva chase, imma stay with them.

I like the chase and to play around with builds and have fun with some mates not taking the game too serious.

I would agree in theory expect the map's are designed to have massive amounts of breathing room for survivors in chases. How often to survivors _wait_ for killers at a pallet, usually with a comfortable lead? These aren't thrilling last minute saves with a pallet, it's calmly waiting for the killer to show up so you can test if your ability to hit the pallet is faster than his ability to strike through it.

I would love to explain why the idea that "Doing gens is just holding M1 with occasional skill checks" is a general misconception, but you probably wouldn't care and I really can't be arsed.

The first mistake the survivor made was waiting at the pallet with the comfortable lead. But we all have had those moments at some point. Most survivors and killers with fairly decent experience will try to cherish the pallet until they need it the most, because those dead zones are killer heaven. The thrill can also come from having to enter a dead zone to search for a jungle gym or a T and L wall or shack, the killer almost catching up to you while you reach for the nearest safe window or pallet. The chase as a whole if done seriously will be full of tense moments to test knowledge and experience.

Being the self sacrificing hero, when there are 2 gens left. One person sacrificed, one DC, one person with one hook on them, and myself injured and dead on hook.

I find the hatch and with a bitter sweet sense of resolve, I wave over the David and shake him off every time he tries to heal me. I point and direct him to the hatch, sitting my toolbox I found next to it. Without looking back I see the killer and I run as fast I can to make as much noise as possible. Getting the Killer's attention, I lead him away to the farthest hook I can before I am downed and hooked. The moment the sacrifice animation ends, the hatch opens and the David escapes.

In my death I gave hope to a bad situation.

Its not that bland really, each match is different, you dont have to stress for ruin or other stuff, playing with friends and memeing around is great too.

I rage quit every now and then against certain people playing as killers. Like you can just smell the meat department online. You ever had that weird intuition feeling like you were being stalked on internet? Yeah it was one of those feelings.

Im laughing at the killers I do it to.

Its all these stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cops playing DBD trying to get some leads or something or some stupid warvet (civilian cops are just as bad) who has mental issues and he doesnt know hes being laughed at by me and others.

Why the game is dying... It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boring and pointless. Game favors killers way too much.
