Dying Light + Thanatophobia
Do these perks stack? I've never seen killers run both of them. I can only imagine how extremely slow everything would be then.

Dying light is worthless.

They do stack, but:

- At least 3 survivors have to be injured for Thana to have noticeable impact, which is not always possible.
- By the time you gain enough stacks for Dying Light, the game is practically over. Either you're completely dominating survivors and DL is not needed at all OR survivors are dominating you and DL is completely useless.
- Dying Light doesn't affect the obsession, so you have to actively chase and hook other survivors instead. That means only 2 survivors are affected by DL if you're chasing someone at the moment.

If you want to run an anti-heal and slowdown build you have to run DL + Sloppy Butcher + Thanatophobia + another slowdown perk with an M1 killer. But it won't work because DL kills the purpose of the slowdowns. You either put pressure also on the obsession or you're done.
I actually use DL only on Plague because it doesn't give obsession the bonus on healing because of Broken status.
Instead I use Thanatophobia + Sloppy Butcher in some builds, mainly Trapper and Wraith.

They do stack by people greatly overestimate how effective they are. Thanathophobia for example slows down generator progress just by 4 seconds if one survivor is injured, which is practically nothing. Dying light only starts taking effect by the time you have 1-2 gens left OR if you get full stacks early, you would most likely already win without that perk.
