Diversion is awful.
You need to wait 45 seconds in a terror radius out of chase... to throw a rock..
Seriously? Just.. give it a cooldown, in fact, throwing rocks really doesn't seem that conditional.

Does tier 3 make the 45 go down a lot ?

no doesnt affect time at all. On top of that they only get the indication 20 meters within the rocks radius at tier 3.

Everything about the perk needs to be buffed. Especially because the rock can land in some very questionable spots that the survivor can't really aim.

The only thing I can even think of would be throwing a rock at a generator you're planning on ditching to maybe lure the killer over there. But you could also do that by just blowing up the gen on purpose and using the perk slot for something better.

The notification is global. 20 meters is how far away you can throw the rock.

Tested it with a friend across the map from one corner to another.

Don't worry, the wording is pretty bad on the perk. We thought the same thing until we tested it.

keep in mind you can still get it during a chase. its not that bad, but yeah the rock can be thrown into some weird places making the noise notification look unnatural, and likely not fool the killer.

You can throw the rock at your teammates to get the killer to chase them, then farm them off the hook.

Pretty good perk for points.

You mean the perk Diversion.

No, you cannot be in a chase.

The perk specifically states "when not in a chase".

Honestly, this is what is the most awful thing about it. 45 seconds cooldown is bad enough for a perk that's underwhelming. Then they throw the terror radius requirement on top of it. And then the not in a chase part on top of THAT.

You'd think the survivor is throwing a hand grenade with all the set up required to even use it.

(From testing, it still somewhat works when in a chase sometimes, but it seems you have to at least be out of direct line of sight).

Basically they only allow you to use it when you don't need it or when it's too late. gud jub

Honestly if it was buffed too much you'd be able to spam it to constantly annoy the killer. Just like jumping over a pallet all game. Imagine four survivors with it and you just hear the notification noise all match. I would quit killer until further notice. That is probably why it has the restrictions it does to avoid it being used to troll.

Yes, combine that with WGLF and I'm ready to farm some points.

You don't need the perk to do that though.

People with OoO already constantly vault back and forth between ♥♥♥♥ just to annoy you.

Which I'm fine with honestly. That's 1 less survivor doing gens or not even healing someone.

Still, the perk does nothing that a survivor can't do without the perk already. If you really want to make a noise notification, just fast vault something. You don't need to dedicate an entire perk slot for that.
