Why are you trying to play it with a PS2 controller?
His profile says he's from Brazil, which is pretty much a third world country.
You just need to disable EAC.
EAC disables all Xinput driver controllers and anything that uses them, ie if you use X-Padder and a PS2 to PC adaptor or Xbox360Ci whatever the hell it's called.
And I absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate how cheap microsoft and sony controllers have become.
Microsoft should be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ashamed of themselves, using a cheap plastic assembly for later model 360 controllers. ,where the older models had metal parts and coils, which could be oiled and replaced.
You don't have to disable anything. Launch steam in big picture mode. My controller works just fine.

Actually i'm a fan of the dualshock 3, and imo the last best controller design up until the switch controller. Utilizing outdated tech to play on modern machinery fascinates me, which is y i giggled.
Dont get so defensive there groucho xD
