Overall Dead by Daylight still stands head and shoulders above the rest simply because they developers stay on a strict schedule and have open communication with the community. It is shocking how those two aspects aren't a number one priority for indie games. That's what got F13.
Soul at Stake was interesting. I loved the gameplay aspect so much since it was not about the chase. Ironic that it was labeled a Chinese DbD rip-off when it played far more differently than F13 did to DbD. They completely ruined that game with the Bell mechanic though. It was super easy to attain and it just stunned multiple people and the range was crazy big.
There were times where I got randomly stunned when I was nowhere near the killer. So everyone started to copy the Chinese meta and picked Prince + Bell and games became so formulaic. It was much better when nobody knew what to do and you saw variety. It got worse as well. The DbD players started oozing into the community and asking why they couldn't just chase all game instead of trying to understand that it was a different game and not a copy.
That game had a really terrible soundtrack too, but the aesthetics kind of made up for it. I don't know what they're doing now, but if the bell is still in that game, then I don't see a future for it. That's what actual game breaking balance looks like.
Identity V is a mobile game, so yuck.
2. theres no insta blinds in dbd.
3. using a flashlight doesnt slow you down, at least not as much as in dbd. you can literally run away and blind the killer.
4. the flashlight has way more durability
5. the killer in identity v cant just look away, he has to turn to not get blinded

Survivors are stronger in Identity V btw, there is dedicated server, actually Ranked Rewards!!! and rewards daily too. Low Rank = Killer stomps , high rnaked = Survivors stomps
no hatch stand off (survivors get knock few meters away), no last person survivor trolling refusing to stay (Crows gather if he does nothin and hide)
Voice-commands for Survivors, in built Kindred
it has a lot of good features that DBD could implement and use, can't wait for the Octopus Killer in few hours lol
it would be so fun having 2 killers around
I like Identity V, the controls could use work, I like the idea of certtain survivors having different stats, with a new take on the perk system, its nice
with that said they have tons of pallets, though killers can hit RIGHT through thrown down pallets if they do it right, but survivors have so many abilitys that make it a easy game, only thing that makes killer really strong is if they camp, because the timer is shorter then DBD and can be brought down more with perks, not to mention survivors can all see the killer camping
yet you always have that teammate who goes for the save without the perk that is like Borrowed time
hatch stand offs being over is nice same with the crows (the crows come a little faster than I'd like, sometimes oyu get them running from one cipher to another across the field)
If they balanced it so each time you dodge your speed decreases then the game would better.
After keep the bell as it is, or shorten the range a tiny bit.
