ingame ping program/software

is there a software for dbd to see my ping ingame?
even better if i can see my ping and the ping of the host
then i would know if its me who is laggy or the host

Um , there is one already in game, lol, gree yellow red bar bottom right next to chat lol

you can enable fps on screen in settings of steam. But i do not think there is a ping one except in the lobby and using any program other than the game can cause the anti cheat to think you are cheating.

Can you run MLGA? last i heard it was third party software and not supposed to be used, think it was being used at one time to lobby dodge against certain killers or something.

All good, I should try it too as I would swear some killers have green lobbies but they go all over the place in game

By this comment, I may conclude that you're not very aware of what the ping is... right?

The Ping is not a "value you have" that universally affect the online games you play. The Ping is the response time between you, and a server.

You may test your ping against google, writing "ping google.com" on the windows console, but the ping you are going to see there, is definitely not the ping you will have while playing DBD.

On DBD, for now, the server is the player playing as the killer. So, the ping will vary taking in account your ISP, the ISP of the killer and the distance between you an the killer. If you are from USA, and the killer is from Europe, you should expect a bigger ping than if the killer is from your city.

Heads up on MLGA though.. don't get too used to it.

Once the Dedicated Servers come out... MLGA won't work anymore.

It was taken off the whitelist.. however.. MLGA tests your ping from the host to you... Who is going to be the host when dedicated servers come out?.. The server. You won't see any survivor or killer IPs anymore.

Technically it will still work.. but you'll only see your ping to the server.. nothing else.

i dont care about blocking people or whatever people use that programm for, i just needed something what shows me my ping thats it

other question, can i get banned for using that program now? even if i just use it to see my ping
