I have been wondering the same thing.

I'm looking forward to trying this! I spend a lot of spare time fishing trout in real life up here in Canada. This looks fantastic. :D

I emailed earlier but haven't heard back yet. I'm trying to not be impatient, here, but this is seriously exciting for me... I haven't played a fishing game that looked this good ever, and hope it is fun. The only other fishing games I really enjoyed were Super Black Bass on SNES and Field & Stream Trophy Bass 3D by Sierra on Windows 98. Oh, and Rapala Pro Bass Fishing for PS3, but I didn't like it as much as the others.

Got my beta key but game not showing up in my library when viewing all games. War Thunder is the same, only shows up when game is actually installed.

Ditto.

The same happend when the long dark made a linux build. I think they did something in the backend to tell steam the game runs also on linux so we were able to install it on this platform.

Just checked my library list through the Steam mobile app and Fishing Planet is showing up there but of course Valve did not include option to input beta keys, only links to Steam website.

Fishing Planet is not listed in my steam library, though I have added it to my lib. There is no way to install Fishing Planet on Linux systems.

Dear Devs, please open the Linux Depot, because this game is a EA game and the Linux user can install it.
