Yet i hope...as this is a very common practice in fishing, for both freash and saltwater applications.
Right now though its one line or the other. On the upside the fish ingame are not nearly as picky about line visability as their RL counterparts. Of course that will probably be changed at some point too down the road.
If I had to guess the line visability to fish is only ingame at a test level, so the devs can see how they play out ya....but not nearly up to what they should be. I base this on catching Northern Pike on 10lb test braided...you not getting that done IRL lol...pike are finicky ya.
I really REALLY like the idea of learning prgressivly better knots as you level up....and actually kinda realistic too. When you first start fishing (heh..or sailing for that matter) you may know a few knots....everyone can tie a square, double hoops and rabbit holes are usually the first.
And while a rabbit-hole is good, is sure as hell is no double-noose knot ya!
These developers seems to have a good head for fishing (even if they fail at balance and communication...) so I would guess leaders is gonna be thing at some point....certainly a must have if they gonna add saltwater.
But thanks Alex. I'm really enjoying it. You guys are on to something. The part that needs fixing IMO is the Premium/pay section. I will post some ideas later today.
