Stop/go - Lift/drop dots?

Simple... does it actually do anything? Or is it just a display, with no effect on fishing

im not sure to be honnest but with 3 dots it shows your doing it the best you can but saying that ive cought big fish when theres no dots i dont pay atention to that any more what i do catches fish so its working :D

Same. The games detection of it seems a bit laggy and inconsistent so I just use Lift & Drop to keep my lure in the right area for longer.

How about the effectiveness of each technique? What i mean is, will i catch more\bigger bass if i use stop&go or if i use any of the other techniques for example?

honestly I don't think so. I specifically use lures that I can just reel straight back to me in order to avoid the mechanic all together.

I go through the motions of the retrive and ignore the dots because I've caught some of my largest bass when I was at one dot or no dots. There are times my bait has been slammed as soon as the lure has hit the water, before I even began the retrieve as well.
