We’re excited to finally introduce Abyssal Lapidary to everyone today.
Our Steam store page is now officially live, and we’re opening sign-ups for our very first playtest. We’d love for you to join us and help shape the future of the game!

Abyssal Lapidary is a workshop management game centered around ore identification, crafting, and a touch of risk-taking.
You inherit Vermilion House, an old jewelry workshop in the underground city of Fathomholm. During each day, you’ll select ores, cut gems, design accessories, and slowly rebuild the workshop through your own judgment and craftsmanship.
Every decision matters:

• Is this ore worth buying?
  
• How much waste material should you remove?
  
• Which cutting technique will maximize its value?
  
• Which customer should receive the finished piece?

A single stone might make your fortune, or leave you with nothing.
But in Fathomholm, not everything hidden within ore is a gem.
Crimson vein pulse beneath certain ores. Customers arrive with symptoms no one can explain. And somewhere deep inside Vermilion House, unsettling sounds echo through the walls...

🎮 Available Content
This playtest includes all gameplay content leading up to the Emerald License (the highest license level), offering approximately 3+ hours of playtime.

The test will be conducted through Steam Playtest.
Simply visit the Abyssal Lapidary Steam page and click:

We’ll gradually grant access to applicants during the test period. Once approved, Steam will notify you automatically, and you’ll be able to download and play directly from your library.
