That's no sense, man. Try a game at the monitor native resolution like 1080p, 1024 whatever. Then check anoter res, like 720p, 480p, 4:3, 16:9 or 16:10 ration. For me lower then my native res feels like... poor graphics and visual quality. Almost like a white fog filter, more edges.
Resolution is amtter. With DSR older titles can be rendered higher resolution, for old games that enhance the visuals a bit.
Are you mentally retarded?
I want whatever you are smoking, because you have GOT to be high as ♥♥♥♥ to actually think that.
If you would upgrade that potato you have, you would see that anything above 1080 is SHARP, the colors, the depth is SSSSOOOOO much better. Either that or you are blind as hell.
I have 0 problem with developers not supporting 10+ year old hardware, or display formats, thats like people boycotting Microsoft and Sony for no longer supporting CRT TV's with AV in/out ports.
While LCD monitors that utilize IPS panels are more expensive, the colors are generally more accurate and blacks on your screen while watching movies, playing games etc actually are black. Also you can watch from many angles without screen colors noticeably degrading. Also, black areas and other colors don't bleed odd white light to ruin the picture.
This made me chuckle.
I get your drift. Never understood why the max resolution decreased. The old analog display res was a bit beyond 180p, with that 1536p or more. IMy first monitor 15" 15 years old max res was 1600x1200@60 Hz and made my eyes bleed, so run in 1024x768@100 Hz, plus it was fine for my hardware. Next monitor was a CRT flat, has better refresh rate support. 7 years ago I got my first LCD monitor, has 1440x900@75 Hz. and 16:10 ratio. I felt lower resolution support maybe bad, but the half widescreen looked great, soon I found out using the native res 900p is better then the stretched 768p one. Plus it didn't hurt my eyes at all! CRT even on 120 Hz get your eyes a lot of stress. LCD and LED not. And the refresh rate doesn't matter anymore. And since Every OpenGL game used 60 Hz only it was a great change for me.
Why the hate? Totally uncalled for.
You can disagree him without looking like an ass yourself.
