I'd say finish 2016 anyway. Both games are great.
You must finish the game!
Why dont you take a sip of that ♥♥♥♥♥ juice while you're at it? And dont forget the comfy pillow to make the sitting more enjoyable.
Finish 2016, then go to Eternal. Doom 2016 is one of the best games I've ever played in my life, and even after playing Eternal I'd play 2016 again. Only problem is that you get used to Eternal when going at Doom 2016 back since you get used to dashing a lot. Hence why I'd recommend finishing Doom 2016 like everyone else has done, and make sure to go with open eyes for running low on ammo at the beginning levels. My master recomendation for transitioning from 2016 to Eternal- don't upgrade ammo ability and spam chainsaw there. The transition will be flawless if you do so. I did and took nothing to adjust. Only thing that still bothers me tho is no normal melee damage in first levels, but that seems like it's not changing from the devs sadly, so that'll require getting used to. If you barely melee at all in Doom 2016 tho then you're more than good.
I like the explanation and appreciation of both games. Listen to Omege (M). Btw, nice profile pic. I think it'd be pretty cool, if id had the time and manning to do multiple projects of course, if Nintendo propositioned them to make the next Metroid Prime, that, well, they'd do it :).
