Offline LAN support?

Will this game support LAN play? I'm okay with online authentification but actually hosting LAN servers and playing on a LAN is what I'm interested in.

We can only hope. a lack of lan support would be moronic... but more and more devs are locking it out these days.

I only do LAN. Multiplayer to me is all about being with the friends and doing it online is like being a loner who hates being around other people. Also doing multiplayer with friends while online sucks if you don't have good enough internet to support multiple people at once which makes LAN necessary. Not going to use our mobile internet bandwidth for it LOL. Otherwise I just do single player.

DOOM without LAN? Seriously?
I live in the boondocks and have Satelite for Internet. I would buy 3 copies of this TODAY if they supported offline LAN play.

If I can't run a dedi server for LAN or WAN I'm not buying. My friends and I have all boycotted games like this for the past 5 or so years. We like playing on our own servers so we can ban or kick trolls and cheaters. Oh well, moving on.

Your friends and you need to start developing games with lan support! Its so stupid how no one seems to want to support offline servers anymore.

For AAA the most recent one is Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege.

You omitted the fact that it's only for the player vs player multiplayer. :/
