(SOLVED) ASUS PG279Q - 165hz - Vulkan - Gtx980Ti [In screen FPS counter not working]

Hello, The ASUS PG279Q has a built in frame counter. Ever since enabling Vulkan that counter is literally stuck at 144 (if screen is set to 144hz) and 165 (if screen is set to 165hz) All settings are maxed out. I tried both SP and MP and frame rate bever dips below that. This is either the BEST optimization I have ever seen in a game or my in screen FPS counter isn't working.

*Please note I was getting 130fps with Open GL. This is absolutely incredible.

Is anyone else able to confirm that the game is actually running this well? By sheer gameplay and smoothness alone I am inclined to believe that it is.

ASUS Maxiumus VIII Hero

EDIT - I turned on the in game FPS Counter and it does not match the screens FPS counter. Therefore VULKAN does not work with the ASUS in screen FPS counter.
