That said in response to Nicholas Steel's point, they could design a special version of the Snapmap's Summoner does just that. That or the AI director is designed to do that job.
Although it would be cool if they could do the DOOM 2 thing and make every enemy, boss or not a regular enemy in Snapmap especially as all three bosses are throwbacks to previous enemies in the series. From the Cyberdemon and Spider Mastermind (aka Spiderdemon) to the Guardians which could be a combination of the Hell Guardian from DOOM 3 and the Hell Hunters from Resurrection of Evil.
