Well that's dumb. gg quake competitive look. I sincerely hope there is way to change the settings via commands...I hate the console-tier pleb settings they give you by default.
A potato? Dude, I have an Intel I7 6770k, 16 gigabytes of 2400 gHZ ram, Zotac Nvidia 980 on the lowest settings and it still hitches like Hell itself, have you seen the numerous threads talking about performance, I want maximum framerate so I can engage enemies competitively and rip and tear for a playthrough.
You are right the game needs patches real bad, too bad there is no ETA on vulkan.
Pain, your posts provide no solutions. How am I to believe you? My system runs practically all other games without hitching or stuttering, at their lowest and highest settings. My system is regularly defragmented, scanned and has no malware. I also physically clean it of dust, this game is poorly optimized on certain systems, I seek to make it like Quake Live's configurations, basic colours, hit-sound confirmation and fullbright.
I've been in advanced settings...nvidia drivers are updated. That's not the point, I am talking something along the lines of something like r_drawviewmodel 0 in the Source engine which disables the viewmodel, except in the IDTech 6 engine. I want to configure and tweak it for more performance.
Please tell me you just didn't reference or citate a known pro-console website, in it's mobile wrapping. I'll believe your word for it but anything from Neogaf is a no-no, especially with their background.
So are you actually going to post any commands that, *ahem* will improve the performance. It's not that hard of a question, if at all, damn it.
OK, here's one. It's +set m_smooth 0
you strike me as one of those people that has all these smart ideas and think hes really clever but always manage to end up in a situation where nothing works as it should. like most 12yr olds
if u cant find a command list for the console by doing a google search, then youre not gonna find it here either. good bye
I've googled Doom 2016 for commands, pcgamingwiki, Tweaks Guides, the forums on beth's site...only cheat commands. I figure they did the worst thing and locked/removed the cvars. And yes, good bye, don't let the door hit you on the way out, sweetheart =)
This. But, bumping the thread again will likely help.
Already have it set. Thanks anyway. m_smoothing works in the console as well whilst inside the game.
If 72 fps somehow isn't good enough, you'll need a 1080 (and maybe Vulkan) to
make things better.
