Downscaling resolution
So I've been having issues when trying to run this game in fullscreen at 1600x900 resolution. On anything other than my native resolution the game downscales and reverts to a sort of borderless window. I don't know if anyone has had this issue when trying to boost performance or if there's any way to get it to behave properly.

You have to go into scaling settings and force scaling to full screen. This way lower resolutions stretch to fill the entire screen instead of having black borders. Now finding the scaling settings depends on your GPU, Nvidia is obviously in Nvidia control panel and AMD I think is in Crimson? is that what its called? idk.

What setting would that be on the nvidia control panel? I don't see anything on the 3D settings that looks like what I'm looking for

Right click desktop - Nvidia Control Panel - Adjust desktop size and position - Set scaling to fullscreen and even override game settings - apply.

Would I be running into issues if I ran a seperate integrated gpu for my desktop?

I have a GTX970M and in the windows 10 Nvidia control panel, this option does not exist. Anyone else know how to fix this scaling issue?

it's not an issue with black borders. It's an issue that may only be apparent on mulri display desktops. I get the same thing. My primary screen is 3820x2160, but I play on 2560x1440, and my mouse cursor moves outside the gameplay window on to my secondary screen at times. It's not locking the cursor inside the game window.

Like you have your monitor plugged in through your MB? (Don't most/all motherboards disable the iGPU when a dedicated card is plugged in? I know mine did..)

Or are you using a laptop?
